To connect Australians with like-minded Australians regardless of age, race, disability & accessibility.

The Community Virtual Chat is a mental health initiative designed to help cure the loneliness epidemic that has crept into our society.

Virtual Chat sessions are scheduled for afternoon, evening, and late night for those who just want to have a conversation with someone.

The virtual nature of the chats means that anyone can join regardless of location, accessibility, vulnerability, and mobility.

Each session is 90 minutes and in that time there will be 8 x 10-minute video chats with randomly selected people. At the end of the video chat, you can nominate if you'd like to continue contact with that person. There is a 10-minute break mid-session.

This is a public event and is open to all Australians. Chats are organized in many different ways to ensure you can connect with a variety of like-minded people.
